Check back often between now and December 15 as I will be holding surprise & spur of the moment sales on my ArtFire.com studio. No rhyme or reason to the madness--just going to go with how the mood strikes me.

No fabric store within 75 mile journey

Over the next year I will be gathering information from my followers about rural areas which are in need of a fabric store in a downtown area. Most Walmart SuperCenters have done away with the fabric department & some of the smaller Walmarts are still hanging onto some version of a fabric department. Walmart, Joann Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics and others have driven the small town fabric store owner out of most parts of the country. I would like to find the ideal spot in America where there is no fabric store within 75 miles of any kind of store. Besides selling fabric by the yard and bolt, I plan to have a small gift shop, along with embroidery services, computer repair services and carry several lines of top of the line sewing/embroidery machines.
